Ava processes all language tasks locally on your device, ensuring that your data never leaves your computer and is not shared with external servers.

Once Ava is downloaded and set up, you don't need an active internet connection. However, you'll need to be connected to the internet to download a language model.

The basic version of Ava is completely free. While there will be a premium version in the future, the core functionalities will always remain accessible without any cost.

The language models depend on the specific model you choose. While theoretically any language can be supported, the majority of models are trained on English.

Currently, Ava PLS is only available for macOS, but there are plans to release versions for Windows and Linux in the future.

Currently, there is no version for mobile devices, but the possibility of a mobile version is being explored.

Ava PLS is built using Zig, llama.cpp, Preact, Twind, and esbuild.
