Endless Visual Novel is an AI storytelling game where all assets — graphics, music, story and characters — are generated by AI as you play. No two playthroughs will ever be the same.

To use Endless Visual Novel, you need to create an account using your email address and a passphrase. Once logged in, you can play the game and experience the AI-generated stories. You can also customize characters and locations, input dialogue, and even create your own worlds. The game is constantly being updated with new features based on user feedback.

EndlessVN is primarily a game, not a writing tool. It's easy to use without complicated settings. However, you still have control over the world and story. It can also be used as a tool for creating Choose-Your-Own-Adventure (CYOA) visual novels.

The underlying engine is playable but constantly being updated and improved based on user feedback.

Text generation for EndlessVN uses GPT-J / GPT-NeoX. More models will be available in the future.

Sprites and backgrounds are generated using diffusion models like Stable Diffusion. Language models are used to prompt the generation of characters and backgrounds specific to the story and setting.

Various neural nets are used to generate midi samples which are then post-processed to improve quality. Initially, the soundtrack is generated randomly, but there will be ways to control it later on.

There are three subscription tiers: Free, Voyager, and Creator. The pricing may change during development. Free tier allows playing public stories, while Voyager and Creator tiers offer AI-generated adventures and customization options.

Stories are stored securely using AES-256 encryption. Generated assets are not linked to your account. Anonymized metadata may be collected for AI improvement but is not linked to your account.

EndlessVN is developed by Augnition, a small R&D company based in Helsinki, Finland.

Multiplayer is planned for implementation in the future.
