We do not track any of your actions on any websites other than when you explicitly send us a query.

No, only the tabs that were already open before installing Merlin need to be refreshed as no extension operates on an existing old page. But for the new tabs that you open here after installing Merlin, there is no need to refresh. But as a good practice, please do refresh if Merlin doesn't come up or certain things are amiss!
