Style References, commonly known as sref codes, are specific codes or parameters you can add to your MidJourney prompts to dictate the artistic style, mood, or specific characteristics of the generated image. They allow you to fine-tune the artistic style of your generated images, giving you greater control and creativity over the final output.

Sref codes (= style reference codes) are shortcuts for applying a specific look or style to your Midjourney images. Instead of typing a long description of the style each time, you can just include a short code (for example, --sref 1234) to instantly get that style.

Simply add --sref plus the code number to the end of your prompt. Example: alien city at night --sref 1234
